About

Julia Brière is a multidisciplinary designer who works at the intersection of science, technology, and design. Julia holds a MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art where she focused on material systems, responsive environments, technological experimentation and interactive design. She places a special emphasis on developing new design methods to advance research, techniques and tools across various scales. This dynamic approach helps her identify issues and opportunities, creating solutions that address current needs and anticipate future demands.

Her achievements include winning the Future Icons ND Selects Award at New Designers and Third Place in the Material Lab Prize at Pratt Institute for her exploration of bioplastics. Brière’s work has been exhibited at venues including London Design Festival, Material Matters, and London Craft Week.
